Assigned to the 534th Air Engineering Sqdn., 77th Air Service Group, 20th Air Force, as Airborne Radar & Communications Officer.  Group moved to Tinian Island, Marriana's Group, Pacific Ocean in December 1944. Maintained radar and radio equipment for B-29 aircraft bombing Japan.
November 1945  Returned to United States and transferred to active U.S. Army Signal Corps with rank of Captain.

Employed as Basic Radio and Radio Service instructor at National Radio School, Minneapolis, Minn.  Prepared and introduced Television Receiver theory and repair course in 1948.
June 1951 -

Employed as Television Receiver theory and repair course instructor at Northwestern Electronics Institute. [Mpls., MN] Prepared and developed TV courses in 1951.  Revised course to add Color Television in 1958.

Remained active in U.S. Army Signal Corps Reserve with assignments to Research and Development Units, the Signal School at Fort Monmouth, N.J., and Army Signal Communications Units.  Promoted to rank of Major on October 1, 1953.  Transferred to the Retired Reserve on 30 August 1960.
