Dear Mom & Dad and All:

You'll be surprised to get this letter so soon, but today brought me much mail, so I wanted to let you know I received it.  Mom's letters of Jan 11th and 19th both came in the same mail.  Also one from Aunt Min and one from George.  I have only received the one package containing the candy and religious books.  Art should have received a letter from Evelyn about now giving personal description and details of herself and us.  Her air mail letter to Mom should also be well on the way.  Bad flying weather necessitates most air mail, except V-mail, going by boat, so if it hasn't already arrived you can be expecting it.  Her latest picture is enclosed in it.  Incidentally, you had better get a copy of my baptism record typed and witnessed on a V-mail form and send it to me.  I believe it is necessary to have it for the wedding.  Glad to hear Gerry likes her record player so much and you all had a fine Christmas.  Congrats to Pete on her new job.  Jim Grindall seems to be doing better than his ancestor in the Civil War, Hurrah! for him.  When I go to see Evelyn the  first week of March I am going to make inquiries to get George a better position in some administrative work instead of his present job.  I hope I succeed.  Best regards to Art & Mary.  I hope it's a boy.  Cheerio!

Love, Bob
