Last V-mail letter received in twelve days.  Have sent them all to George.  Evelyn has not yet received your letter, but should this week.  Thanks for Baptism certificate and letters.  My allotments were not deducted from my March pay for some reason or other.  Am inquiring about it.  I got the full pay.  Evelyn and I saw the priest of her parish last Friday night and her instructions began Monday (5th April).  The priest was very nice.  She has been looking at wedding dresses.  Will have a white satin one and a veil with orange blossoms.  Wedding cake also ordered.  George will be best man.  Will ask Eve about ring, but think we can get one here okay.  Will let you know if we want you to get it.  It won't be long now!  Got a laugh out of Gerry's poem.  Sent it on to Evelyn.  Will reply to it later.  Am hale, hearty, & happy.

Love, Thatch
