Dear Mom, Dad & All:-

Received Mom's Easter card and Dad's welcome letter from Duluth today April 19th, both mailed March 29th.  Also a letter from George mailed through the APO on April 9th.  I've several times received mail from home that quick.  Had lunch today with my pal Rex Goods, of the CTC, #347.  He came over on the boat with me and would like a package from you.  I wrote to Art regular mail last week and sent some more snap shots taken in February and March.  I didn't know George Huff had joined the army until I got your card.  Rex didn't know either.  The army won't take Rex because he stammers a bit.  In the group picture on Lord Lechmere's doorstep Rex is in the front row with his arms folded.  In the group on the road he's the third from the left.  These pictures are among those I sent Art last week.  Suppose this will reach you ahead of them.  Cathy sure must be a marvel at her age.  Wish I could see her now.  How about a letter from Pete and Gerry?  Evelyn would like to hear from them, too.  Shes read Gerry's letter to me, but none from Pete.  Thanks to Mom & Dad for theirs.

Love. Thatch.
