Dear Mom, Dad & All:-

As usual I'm way behind in my correspondence as a result of a rush of work requiring working evenings, and trips to London to complete our wedding arrangements.  However, we're all set now.  We had to get a dispensation as Evelyn had not completed her instructions, but under the circumstances that was easy.  The General gave his approval so everything has turned out okay.  The ring has failed to arrive as yet but I still have hopes.  Neither package came yet, (the last packages received at the Eagle Club have been those mailed prior to April 9th) so they too will arrive in due time.  Evelyn has received two of your letters and her mother received one, also.  Art's letter to Eve also arrived. Your V-mail has been coming through well the last month, usually taking 10 to 14 days.  Ray received the first batch of funnies and was delighted with them.  George is only an hour and a half away from Eve's now, so he's all set, too.  Have the V-mail wedding invitations arrived?

Love,
Thatch
