Dear Gerry:-

I suppose this will be too late, but congratulations on your graduation and all the best wishes for a successful college career from Evelyn and myself.  I sure wish we could have been there to see you finish it off, but there is a war on.  Eve and I each have your latest picture which Mom sent and you look as though you were happy enough.
We're both mighty happy, too, and looking forward to the 5th and our big day.  I've been to Eve's the last two week ends and Bug was there, too.  He's just across the city from her now.  We showed him around the big town a bit more last week.  I'm really beginning to feel like a native here now after all these months.
You sure seem to be getting to all the good plays and operas lately.  The D'Oyley Cart Opera Company is playing Gilbert & Sullivan in London, but I haven't seen any of them yet.  I hope to before long when I haven't so many other things on my mind.  Write again and tell me about graduation.

Love, Thatch
